Active summer holidays: our hotel in the heart of the Ortler region is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes into the green woods, up to alpine cottages or mountain tops. In the immediate vicinity of our hotel you find the highest paved (and motor-accessible) pass road in Europe leading to Passo Stelvio/Stilfserjoch (2,670 m) at only 15 km distance. This mountain pass road is an absolute must for every motor biker and mountain biker. In only few minutes you also reach a variety of idyllic side valleys such as the Trafoi valley, the Martello valley or Solda. 

Active winter holidays: enjoy skiing in the two nearby ski resorts Solda/Sulden (at 11 km distance) and Trafoi (at 6 km distance). The Ortler region is one of the regions in the Alps where snow is guaranteed until the beginning of May.
